An Giang (VNA) – The Specter An Giang garment technology factory, with a Danish investment of 253 billion dong (nearly 11 million dollars), was just inaugurated on Friday, September 30 in the industrial zone of Binh Hoa , Châu Thành district, An Giang province (Mekong delta).

Started in early 2021 with a total area of ​​more than 38,000 m2, the factory carries out research, production of high-tech clothing, with an annual capacity of 2 million products. It should create nearly 1,200 jobs.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, Danish Ambassador to Vietnam Nicolai Prytz said Specter’s products are used for outdoor sports activities. Operating in Vietnam for more than ten years with its joint venture activities in the province of Thai Binh, Specter has built its first factory in Nam Dinh, its second in Thai Binh and now its third in An Giang.

According to Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee of An Giang Nguyên Thanh Binh, towards the end of September, An Giang granted 46 investment registration certificates to enterprises in its industrial parks and border economic zones with a total registered capital of over of 8,200 billion dong.

So far, 34 projects have been officially started and are creating jobs for 20,000 local workers. –VNA
