HotelRunner, the fast-growing global hospitality and travel technology provider, today announced the closing of its $6.5 million Series A. New and existing investors including 212, Wix Capital, Founders Factory, Ascension Ventures, DHM and a number of travel and technology veterans and angel investors who have also joined the firm’s Advisory Board, Gerry Samuels, Melih Odemis, Daniel King and Niels Gron took part in the tour.
In total, HotelRunner raised $8.5 million between the founder’s stake, pre-seed, seed and its Series A.
Headquarters are in Delaware, United States, sales are in London, and technical development is in Turkey.
HotelRunner offers a unified sales, operations and distribution management platform, its AI-based business intelligence solutions and its marketplace network. HotelRunner claims 64,000 hotels in 193 countries.

With this money, HotelRunner plans to continue its global expansion and open new offices in America in the coming months. After two acquisitions in the past, the company also plans to consolidate the fragmented travel technology industry in different markets by continuing its acquisition spree.
