The 14th edition of the International Exhibition of Agricultural Investment and Technology “SIAT 2022”, was inaugurated on Wednesday, at the Kram Exhibition Center, by the Head of Government, Najla Bouden and in the presence of the Ministers of Agriculture and Industry, Energy and Mining.
Organized by the Agricultural Investment Promotion Agency (APIA) from October 12 to 15, 2022, this exhibition, which has the theme “Intelligent Investment for Sustainable Development”, offers farmers and investors an opportunity to exhibit their new technologies and become aware of the opportunities available for the promotion of agricultural production.
The Director General of APIA, Inji Douggui, indicated in a statement to the TAP Agency that this edition will be marked by the participation of more than 200 exhibitors and the organization of a national competition on Technological solutions applied to “GREEN’TIC” Agriculture.
On the program of SIAT 2022, there are several events including an exhibition of advanced technologies and research achievements in the fields of agriculture, agri-food, fishing and related services, and partnership meetings between Tunisian promoters. and foreign partners (7 delegations) with a view to creating projects, establishing commercial relations and concluding production contracts.
The first international forum on responsible investment will be organized, elegantly, during this edition, informed the CEO of APIA.
In addition, Douggui said that investments approved in the agricultural sector have reached, since the beginning of 2022, more than 400 million dinars, registering an increase of 30%. And to add that these investments could reach, at the end of the year 2022, 600 MD.
