It is soon the moment that will hurt the wallets of many motorists: the change of tires due to the arrival of winter. Nevertheless, according to a study by KwikFit, more and more drivers are abandoning traditional winter tires.

The all-season tire is indeed becoming more and more popular. In 2013, KwikFit indicated that 3.3% of private cars fitted this type of tire. Now, this percentage increases to almost a quarter since 23.2% of motorists opt for this technology.

The garage chain adds and specifies that the customers who decide to switch to “four seasons” are those who previously drove only with summer tires.
