Hanoi (VNA) – The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development expects more than 20 percent of agricultural products to apply high technology by 2025. The target will help boost the productivity growth rate of the work in agriculture, forestry and fishing up to 8% on average per year.
According to the ministry, to achieve the high-tech agriculture development program for the period 2022-2030, the sector promotes the application of advanced technologies to produce high value-added agricultural products.
This initiative aims to increase the value rate of high-tech agricultural products to more than 20% by 2025 and 30% by 2030.
The application of high technology contribution. high economic efficiency in agricultural production, such as vegetable crops with an income of up to more than 385,000 dollars per hectare and a profit of up to nearly 210,000 dollars per hectare.
To achieve the set target, the agricultural sector is striving to develop and master a number of advanced technologies and will effectively apply them to the production of high-tech agricultural products on a commercial scale.-VNA
