Sep 6 (Reuters) – Russia’s antimonopoly watchdog (FAS) said on Tuesday that Google (GOOGL.O) had taken steps to correct antitrust violations at its Google Play app store.

“After analyzing the company’s actions, the agency found that Google had eliminated signs of antitrust violations,” Russia’s Federal Antimonopoly Service (FAS) said.

FaS announced in July that it had fined Google 2 billion rubles ($33 million) for violating competition rules. read more
