Benoît Dubuis, the poet of life sciences
The new president of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW) wants to encourage interest and understanding of technology among the general public. He is also the initiator, with the Inartis Foundation, of the Tempus Fugit watch, nominated for the Grand Prix de l’Horlogerie 2022.

The office of Benoît Dubuis, the new president of the Swiss Academy of Engineering Sciences (SATW) is in his image. Heterogeneous objects abound in all directions: a grand piano, an industrial stapling system, an imposing bookbinding press received for its 50th birthday, a wire mannequin made on the basis of its 3D scan, a Swiss cuckoo clock revisited, models of cities he made in his spare time or even a bioreactor of several meters – fruit of his doctorate – that his wife did not want to see in the middle of the living room.
