Presented this Tuesday, September 6 by Minatec Entreprises, the BHT3 will be the latest of its three high-tech buildings located on the scientific peninsula of Grenoble, all dedicated to welcoming and supporting start-ups and companies. innovative. And this, after the BHT1, which came out of the ground in 2005 and located within the CEA, then the BHT2, built in 2019 at the southern entrance to the Presqu’île.

Since its creation in 2003, Minatec Entreprises has hosted and supported more than 40 companies, all of which have benefited from its expertise in maintenance and operation. Today, however, BHT1 and BHT2 are saturated, hence “a strong expectation from the ecosystem“, emphasizes Yannick Neuder. But, with the future BHT3, “we will eventually have a total of nearly 20,000 m² of buildings, including 3,000 m² of clean rooms and laboratory and office areas“, he adds.

With a total area of 4,200 m², the BHT3 will offer twenty-two lots of 120 to 150 m² each. With one feature:The building will be fully flexible and 100% modular“, explains Pierre-Édouard Cardinal, general manager of Minatec Entreprises. “If a start-up arrives tomorrow telling us that it doesn’t need 120 m² right away, but only 60, no problem.
