The Gaspé Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles campus will offer Electrical Engineering Technology training as of fall 2023.

This new program will allow students to develop skills to work in industrial electronics. Graduates will be able to work in several sectors of activity:

The Gaspé college has a head start since students will have access to the infrastructures of the Nergica college technology transfer center. The Cégep de la Gaspésie et des Îles is the only college that offers training in wind turbine maintenance:

Students will therefore have access to Nergica’s infrastructures, including the Rivière-au-Renard research site and its wind turbine maintenance training facilities as well as its laboratories.

This 3-year training leads to a college diploma.

Students in this program are eligible for Perspectives Québec and Parcours scholarships, which award up to $31,500 if the criteria established by the ministry are met.
