Women’s forum 2022: technology and parity at the heart of the competition

The deadline for submitting applications is November 6. The call is addressed to all students from AUF countries in Southern Africa, Central Africa and the Great Lakes, West Africa, North Africa. They will have the task of proposing innovative technological projects in one of the four areas addressed by the Women’s forum 2022, namely climate, health, entrepreneurship and science and technology.

To enter, contestants will need to create a presentation that showcases their team and their solution. Teams wishing to participate must submit their solutions before November 6th.

The selected teams will have the chance to present their solutions to the representatives of 175 countries gathered at the 17e global meeting of the Women’s forum 2022 and to get in direct contact with activists, legislators and leading economic leaders such as Stack Infra, Leroy Merlin, Infovista and Tech Data who are also participating in this international initiative.

To participate, all you have to do is register on the competition platform, create or join a team of two to five people and submit a short presentation of five slides before the deadline for the first stage of submitting applications.

Importantly, since its inception in 2005, the Women’s Forum has become the leading international platform for transforming the power of women’s voices and perspectives into cutting-edge economic and political initiatives for societal change. It brings together a global community of business leaders, policymakers and change agents from many sectors of the economy who serve both as think tanks for effective decision-making and as showcases for their initiatives.
